Tax Appeals can be submitted until April (the exact date(s) depend on the county and if you receive a "change in value" notice after a certain date in April -- you have 30 additional days to file).

Types of Properties and Types of Appraisals

A real estate appraisal is often used for new construction and refinancing, PMI removal, tax purposes, estate settlement in the case of death or divorce, as well property purchasing and selling.

Turnaround Time

When an appraisal is ordered, an attempt to schedule an appointment will be made within 24 hours. Most reports are completed and delivered within 48 hours of the site visit, barring any complex issues with the property.

Ongoing status reports regarding issues that may arise in the appraisal process will be made available as soon as they arise, in order to complete the appraisal in the most timely manner possible.

A completed appraisal report can typically be available within two business days of the site visit. The appraisal can then be sent via EDI/pdf electronic delivery, courier and/or US mail.
